Ukraine¡¯s agricultural exports are a vital source of food for countries in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Before the war, its food exports fed 400 million people each year. Since July 2022, ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳has directly supported Ukrainian food exports to food-insecure countries by chartering vessels under the now-expired Black Sea Grain Initiative and under the Grain from Ukraine initiative.
